Flowgear Urges Teams to Start Building With AI - and Keep the Integration Layer Durable

As AI lowers the barrier to building, the risk is not experimentation. It is letting critical integrations spread without a place that owns credentials, approvals, and runs.

JOHANNESBURG - Flowgear is urging enterprise teams to use AI-assisted building while being deliberate about where business integrations live, how they are approved, and who remains accountable for execution.

The live site message is plain: AI can replicate a feature in an afternoon, but it cannot rebuild the governed integration layer that decides how systems are reached, what credentials are used, and which actions are allowed to run.

Vibe coding and AI assistants are moving from experiments into daily work. People can describe an app, dashboard, or automation and get a first version quickly. That is useful. It is also how thin layers appear over real business processes - fast to demo, hard to operate later.

The Thin Layer Problem

A thin layer is easy to create and hard to own. It may connect a process quickly, then sit outside the normal integration estate. Credentials end up in scripts. Error handling is incomplete. Logs live in the wrong place. When something breaks, nobody knows whether the source of truth is the app, the spreadsheet, the agent prompt, or the backend API.
